I would think the ZJ mustve been up there, it was the only mid size SUV with a V8. thoughts?

You're right, it was '96. Seems like yesterday. However there was a lot of aftermarket parts for the 5.0 which made for some souped up grocery getters.

Gmc cyclone? Or the typhoon? I don't remember which was the SUV and which was the pickup. They were also a good bit lighter than the ZJ.

if the Typhoon counts as a mid size SUV, I'd say it wins. 0-60 in 5.3 and the 1/4 in 14.1. Only produced in 1992 and 1993.
