I carry two shovels with me in the back of my wj(one for me and one for the unlucky prick in the passenger seat lol) and what I use to keep them secured down is short bungie cords, it works very nicely, it may work for your high jack.

Now was having a system that important to you that you put the tire on top without the proper equipment? I know you're in highschool but your parents shouldn't've allowed that. Just remember, a system isn't gonna keep you from being locked up. Having the tire secured down inside the back of the wj will. You don't wanna be analy raped at such a young age lol.

the bumper trimming looks sick man.
what did you use to mount your fog lights? what do they bolt to?
do you think that would look bad done to a jeep with the overland trim? or even look half as good?

i just welded the brackets onto the bottom of the radiator support.. then bolted the lights onto the brackets with the hardware that came with them
i'm not sure how it would look on an overland.. if i had an overland i probably would have replaced the bumper when it cracked instead of trimming it, i think they look too nice

4/15/09 Update:

Some recent work. Re-worked exhaust featuring NO main cat, Flowmaster Super 44, and a 3" side dump. For those of you going to give me crap about no main cat, it's still emissions friendly, i've got the 2 cats on my downpipe.
Also installed my coil spring retainers (finally) and went up to 6" of lift
