Latest Update
During the past week i've:
Cut fenders out and covered with Door Edge Guards
Added EBC Brake Rotors and Green Stuff Pads
Replaced a front driveshaft u-joint, only to find out that the "rezeppa" end is shot... Time for a Tom Woods!

Skip the name brand driveshaft... my local driveline shop guy hasn't been impressed with what he saw. I got the non-name brand one from Iron Rock and he said it was much better.

So i correct the above statement to time for a new Iron Rock shaft (double cardan)

They'll sell you a Tom Woods shaft, for $30 more than their locally made one. You pay for the name...

No offense to IRO, but if I had to do it over again, I'd have just paid my local guy to build me one. IRO sold their last one right before I needed one, and their driveshaft guy takes a couple of days to get them turned out.

nice job on the trimming!

in the back, when you trim that far, doesn't the inner tire-well metal come completely loose then from the outside shell? what did you do with regards to that?

ok, that's the biggest thing keeping me from cutting right now... i've seen over on mallcrawlin where people do the cut then weld the pieces back together... but then you have to paint the entire rear quarter-panel again

it wasn't nearly as bad with the bb
i trimmed my front bumper and everything was good
then when i put the cragars on i had to trim a bit more due to the backspacing

I ran 245/75r16 for the past almost two years, and I don't recall mine rubbing ever. That was at stock height, 3" lift, and now 6.5" lift.

Running 30" tires with 6.5" of lift? Musta looked kinda goofy.

Do you have pictures of the rig?
