No, the stock wheels should be fine. The money is better spent on something useful such as a lunchbox locker for the rear axle.

Looks good man.

One question though. How hard was it to put the hanson bumper on? Because ive heard that you have to drill all new holes for the bumper to properly fit ZJs.

Nope. Just bolted right up to holes that already existed.

Actually, we wheel up in NH and MA regularly. There are some really awesome trails in NH. You should hook up with one of the clubs up there, Deep Woods Extreme or NEWJO, great bunch of guys.

A couple of us from Ocean State Jeepsters ran a trail in Western MA with New England Jeepz yesterday. Lots of carnage. Of the 16 rigs on the trail I think only one escaped without any damage. My drivers side front axle yoke grenaded taking the ball joints out with it. Also caved in the rear passenger door, peeled the drivers side front fender, cleaned out drivers side marker lamps and header panel, dented the hood, and cracked the windshield. My friend Bill snapped his rear driveshaft and cracked his windshield. I still can't believe we were able to pound the ball joints back in and get out of the woods in 2WD.

Everything started out innocently enough:

Oops, whats wrong with this picture:

Not good:

Bill's driveshaft:

Ran into a wall of sand trying to get out in 2WD:

That trail is kickass. My rockers didn't survive the gutter section. Looks like you made out a lot worse than I did.
