I was just looking at some 265/75/16 Duratracs. That's just shy of a 32. I won't be doing it for a while. I bought the lift before I found out I have a kid on the way. Now that I know, there's no way I can justify new tires when mine are still good. I have about 18k on my Grabbers. They're probably at about 60% tread life left.

Thanks. The wife and I weren't expecting to have a kid this soon but we're excited. As far as the 235/85s, ive looked at them, but I'd rather do a wider tire. The 235 is only 9 1/4" wide. A 265 is 10 1/2" wide.

I shot this pic through my rain soaked front window yesterday. I thought it looked kinda cool.

Sick ZJ, I love the build (and laughed hard at the stick figure sticker)... Seemed to sit just right with the BB, but you need some meat now! Have you decided on tires? I have Duratracs (in a smaller size) and they are unstoppable in our winters here. Anxious to try them in the dirt and mud...

I am with you in hating leather seats btw...

Thanks. I'm going to go with 31s. I'm thinking either keeping the Grabbers or going to Duratracs. I have had pretty good luck with Grabbers. I've had them on 2 different vehicles and have used them in every type of driving condition you could imagine. They haven't left me stranded yet... Knock on wood. The Duratracs look really great but they're quite a bit more expensive than Grabbers. With a child on the way, cheap is the way for me.

Congrats on the kid! Get whatever you can afford, and makes you happy! 31s will look great, I think; enough room for articulation without being too stuffed

Thanks. Articulation is a big factor as to why I want 31s. I know I could fit 32s but I'd have to extend my bumpstops and possibly trim. I don't want to trim. We use salt here in the winter and I could only imagine how fast I would rust if I trimmed.

Stuffing a huge tire is cool if you're going mudding or want to look nice, but rubbing and limited offroad performance sucks... We salt here too and I would never dream of cutting anything, lol.

Vehicles here tend to rust pretty quickly. I go my skids from salt free states and pull them off for the winter. It's such a pain to pull them though. I'm bed lining the insides of them to prevent them from rusting so I can leave them on all year round. I already bedlined the insides, I'm going to hit the outsides too before I reinstall them. I know I'll probably scrape some off when I'm offroad, but I can always touch that up without removing them.

It's hard to keep anything clean with Salt... My ZJ is the same way... The best you can do is just rustproof or wash a lot in the winter months.

I have a monthly pass at a local chain for unlimited ultimate washes. I run it through there at least 3 times a week. I make sure to get my money's worth out of it. I just hope everytime that my stickers and "mean headlights" will be in tact when I come out. I've had good luck so far.

Mean headlights are just electrical tape, or an actual sticker? I'm going to try and make some this afternoon with tape.

I masked them off and used spray tint. I coated them enough to block all light from coming out of the eyelids. I did place a thin strip of vinyl on the edge to prevent them from chipping. I'm afraid the vinyl will come off and then the tint will chip off.

Ah okay! They look good, I wouldn't worry to much either way, doesn't sound too hard to re-do if necessary!
