duplicolor bed line'd my cladding (pics)

The 9 year old cladding had seen its better days



I used the dupli-color truck bed coating and really like the way it turned out but this stuff is very finnikey. I had to paint around the humidity because this is what 3 coats looks like in about 65% humidity


and this is only 2 coats in about 30% humidity



anyway here is the final result

65% humidity ... We had 6% at 9:30AM today and my meter showed 3% at 2PM

thanks, yeah around here in the summer its about 80% humidity in the morning and 35-45 in the afternoon

its basically half way between a paint and a bed liner. I found that the further away you spray it the rougher or more bed linerish it is and the closer, the smother it is. I wouldn't exactly use it as a bed liner but its exactly what I wanted for this. I will try to take some close up pics tomorrow

the reason i ask is because ive been debating doing my whole ZJ... and i want the bedliner but a much smoother than the herculiner i have where my cladding was

I used the same stuff on my rocker panels. Here's a close up of the texture I got with it.

It's 90% humidity right now here..

Looks good though. Doing the Krylon to my red ZJ was my favorite mod and everyone compliments it. It definitely gave it a face lift.

i think there's a weird glare so it looks uneven, but it looks great!

but wow that bumper came out perfect!
