Grill done:

Decided to go with Firestone Destination A/T 30x9.5R15. They cost $25 per tire less than the BFGs i originally wanted, that money can be spent elsewhere on the ZJ.

Changing my spark plugs and this happened:

No, thats not an oxygen sensor, thats a spark plug with the threads broken off.
Luckily, we got the broken piece out of the head using a #5 screw extractor. Good thng we didnt have to rip the motor apart.

Just replaced my lift gate supports, so nice not to have to prop it open with an old broom handle anymore!
the ZJ to dinner tonight, I'm used to driving my dads 05 WK 3.7. Its nice not having to damn near floor it to merge on the highway

Fried my VIC. took it apart to find the beeper and KILL IT, plugged it back in while it was taken apart, long story short the 2 boards touched and there was some smoke and a small electrical fire. no biggie

Did the 242 swap today. went pretty easy, except i cant get it to shift right. i think i need a genuine 242 linkage, as i cant get my 249 linkage to work (yes i adjusted it, but to no avail). off to the junkyard!

That just about brings it up to date. Heading to the junkyard in a little bit to get a 242 shift linkage

Got a 242 linkage and installed it. Seems to have solved the problem, although it is still a little tricky going from 4lo back into fulltime, and from part time into 2 wheel. just have to kind of slam it instead of push it. good enough for me.

was at the auto part store today and i remembered i wanted to get bulbs for the rear side marker lights and for the center console (trans and tcase shift patterns). installed the rear marker light bulbs, wow theyre bright!
Passenger side:

Driver Side:

For the center console, I got some blue bulbs, looks pretty cool

And look what showed up from brown santa today!

Going to order the TowReady T-one trailer wiring harness for the ZJ tonight, the wiring I did was sketchy at best. mainly just did it to get by since we needed it on such short notice.
Once i get that in, I will be taking the jeep to school and install the exhaust and wiring while up on the lift (have to run a positive wire to the battery for the wiring, gonna run it underneath)
