I'm in the market for a... machine.
Here are my choices:
Nissan Exterra off road package
Toyota Tachoma
Jeep Liverty Diesel
Jeep GC Diesel with Quadra-Drive II
Jeep GC will definitely need at least 2" lift.

Price range $15,000 so it will be used.

Daily driver
Long trips
Light to mid off road trails. Not often.

Am I going to regret purchasing a Jeep due to reliability issues?

I would think this is the best place to ask regarding Jeep and off road trucks.

For $15,000 you can forget about a Grand Cherokee with the CRD
