DHALLs build

Figured it was time for me to start my own build thread before I start loosing track of everything.
It's an 02 grand Cherokee Laredo special edition 4.7. It's my first vehicle and a daily driver. I wish I could do everything now but I just graduated high school and don't have a lot of money!

Guess I'll start by catching up on everything. Everything was either made or installed myself.

IRO 6.5" springs
rough country long arm kit
2" bb from fat bob in front
35" Nitto Trail Grapplers
18" fuel Hostage wheels
Duel steering stabilizer
BTF rear axle truss and cover
Smitty Built 8000
Custom rear bumber
Custom front bumper
Custom sliders
Roof rack
HIDs
Tinted led taillights
Custom interior
Air raid tube w k&n filter
Superchips flashpaq
Custom grill
Touch screen Clarion and pioneer speakers and 12"subs
Rock Lights
Plastic dip badges

Put some night shots up tonight. I've been thinking of doing this to mine but don't want to do it if it cuts down visibility to much. How many coats did you put on?

Looking nice.

The headlight tint looks ok, not my style though.

Well the chrome stood out to much so I had to do something lol.

I taped off the headlight area did three coats on the marker lights and reflector then pulled off the tape and did two more coats over the hole thing.

That's the same way I feel everything else on my jeep is black except the headlights. I've been thinking about buying a set of 04 Laredo headlights.

I'd say I lost about 15% light output.. Oh well that's what the other 4 HIDs are for

You have to take the gauge cluster off and the console out and the control panel for the air. Amazon.com carries the lights you need or go to superbrightleds.com and I used a led strip for my shifter lights. I think I got it off eBay. It'd been laying around the house for a while.

I used this. Napa carries it. It looks like bed liner when it goes on and it's about 8 bucks a can. So it only cost around $15 bucks to paint the hole bumper. Which is cheaper then any other durable option and plus it hides any imperfections in my not so beautiful welds lol. I also painted my grill and roof rails with it.

Now I just need a rack to put the spare tire on. I plan on building one either next week or the week after just depending on when the shops not busy.
