sounds real nice. how much did it cost you for all of that?

and also, get a launch vid from right behind and just get on it, and stay on it till you feel like you're a decent distance from the camera. just to hear the truck at high rpm's and how it sounds shifting

Installed my Hella 700FF lights and took off the side cladding. I got it washed right after I took them off, but it's going to need a good compounding and waxing to come out nice. But still looks a lot better. The lights aren't wired yet, and one thing that I don't like, is thy are REALLLYY wobbly on my bumper, but I'm dealing with it for now.

looks good...i would leave the covers off....i hate way the lights look with the covers on...that why i leave mine off.

yeah but I don't want sand kicking up and scratching the lens n stuff. yeah, the covers are ugly, but I wana keep these lens pretty

You need to have 10 characters in a post so if you dont "10 char" to make it.

If you want to keep the covers on keep them on but when you take pics take them off no one will ever know.

Wobbly on your bumper? You mounted them to the bumper cover I take it? Take off the cover and make some L brackets and mount them to the steel bumper behind the cover. It only takes a few minutes to take the cover off.

didnt really think of that. and yeah apparently the previous owner didn't like screws. because NOTHING was holding on the bumper cover. I took it off to mount the lights, and there was ONE screw holding the bumper on. other than that, it slid into those bolts on the side of the fenders. I made a few of my own screws on the top of the bumper to make it a little more stable. How would I bolt down the L brackets? I guess I could bolt the bracket to the steel bumper, make the length perfect where the brackets of the lights are, and just bolt it through the cover and onto the L bracket?

Stock brackets come up behind and over the bumper cover. Not mounted to it at all so if you the take cover off, the lights stay mounted. But, seeing as you already drilled it, You'd prolly be better off still having them bolt thru the cover. Unless you want to run without the cover or get a new one from a boneyard.

I work for a guy who sells jeep parts. so i'll just end up getting one from him, if i want to. but I'm just going to mount them through the bumper cover so it's definitely not going to fall off the truck lol

They look nice mounted there! Did your temp increase at all?

I have the same lights mounted on a Safari Bar.

I run the covers on them unless I am going to use them. I am thinking of blacking the covers out though. The white just looks hideous. How do you plan on wiring them? Mine are wired to come on with HB only. Comes in handy for the long stretches of back country roads around here!

My exhaust cost $370 shipped, and I got 7.5' of 3" pipe from the dude at mieneke for $25. And free install. Nice lights man!
