If you have the cash, right now Andy at Ironman4x4Fab is doing a one-day-only 20% off sale. It drops the long arm kit down to $540. Just giving you the heads up, dont think youll find a better price. Works with the IRO crossmember too.

So I called Andy at Ironman4x4Fab. And with the 20% discount it comes out to 1500 shipped. That's without any brackets. If I order Clayton brackets it will be just under $1900. If I order the full Clayton kit it will run me just under $2000 shipped. I'm all about buying from a small business who makes quality stuff like Andy. But honestly, I'd rather just pay the extra hundred dollars to have a complete kit all made from the same company who's probably made a whole lot more.. I'm sure Andy does amazing work and his quality will be top notch. But so will Claytons. And to me it's not worth risking ordering the wrong measurements etc by piecing together a kit from two different companies. So I'm still saving and when the times right I'll most likely go full Clayton

Oh yeah with a full kit, may not be worth it. I was thinking just get the front long arms and you can put them on now (with the IRO crossmember). Then get the back half from Claytons. Thay way it would be $590 (with shipping) for the front, then you could do the $1060 for the rears later down the road to space out the cost. So it would be $1650 total.

But I hear what youre saying, if you are going to spend the green, might as well get exactly what you want.

That's true. Are you gonna cut out your own brackets or do you know of a company that sells a weld it yourself kit?

Yeah and I just remembered one more thing. If I order the full Clayton kit I get the Clayton crossmember. If I order the ironman I'll have to keep my IRO crossmember. Then when it comes time to sell my iro long arms it will be kinda hard to get a decent price without the iro crossmember to go with it. I may order the front half Clayton tho. It will be free shipping and only be $20 more than if I bought the front and rear together.

All these replies are encouraging me to keep building. I was caught up in work mode for a second and hadn't done much to the jeep besides add a 12 inch sub and amp I bought off craigslist for $100

It's for the low pinion 30. And I'm gonna sell them. You interested? And I wish I did. I rented that one. My buddy has 2 of them tho and I'm sure he'd be down. Where do you usually go?

So about a month ago I contacted Neil (FortCollinsZJ on jeepforum) asking if he could make me a set of tube doors because I wanted some and I knew he had made a few different designs before. So after a few pm's we had a deal. I plan to make a matching set for the rear, and this way I have an example of what to work off of as far as the latch and everything goes.

They doors couldn't possibly open and close any better

Incase anyone out there wants to see how simple and effective the design is, here are some pictures:

The bolt on the top works as a stopper so the door doesn't swing too wide

The whole door bolts into the stock location using the stock bolts

And uses the stock striker

Thanks again Neil!!

Yeah I agree. And one thing too if you didn't notice already is its 1.75" tube so it's a little more beefy
