I really like those. I'm considering stealing your idea.

Did you have to mod the shape at all besides cutting for the rear door?

Oh, and you appear to be missing a lug nut.

Ha ha, yea im missing 5 lugs total i believe. The flares are super moldable, esp with a little heat. The door was the hardest part, it takes some pre thought and adjusting of the flares. After you make the cut you will have to modify a little to make the ends line up with one another. If you look closely they form around the cladding right out of the box. They will shape almost any way you want them.

I finally finished rebuilding my steering box and got it back in the jeep.[/URL[/URL

I had to take out the balls and reset them a couple times, cause you have to set every other color. Having bearing grease helps a lot in putting it all back together. I also had trouble with the main piston seal, make sure you have ps fluid by you during the install.

I finally took it off the drive way and played around for a bit. This climb is much steeper than it looks, with loose dirt.
I tried to make this but after my wheel came off the ground my pregnant spotter told me i was done, so i will have to save it for another day.

I forgot to take my mud flaps off again. And broke one off again. My back tire tucks a little bit now that i trimmed and put on the flares. Im still happy with the leafs and the steering is working great

I'm happy with them. I'm gonna have to trim a little off the fronts cause my tire catches it at full stuff with the wheel turned. But like I said there easy to put on and saved me a couple houndred.

That should be it. Remember there not gonna fit as well as any flare made for a wj esp since you have to cut out for the door on these but they turned out good and i didnt take my time with them. Also i would wait till your rear bumpers done before trying to install them just so you can match them up right. I just wanna say all that incase some one is expecting showy clean flares, these look good but not perfect. A local shop had a set on hand so i put them up against the jeep several times before i figured they would probably look fine, then i bought them.

Thanks! Hell half the stuff that's made for my jeep seems like it won't fit right lol. I was planning on making some flares out of sheet metal and tubing until I saw these so I'm not really worried about perfect looking! I may still run a tube on the outside of the flare idk yet. We'll see!

Cool that works. It may look good to build some tube fenders and bolt the flares to those, I like that idea cause you would have the look of the flares but the protection from the tube fenders.
