I like how you mounted those lights!

Thumbs up from another near broke college student

How did you end up mounting the lights? Did you use the factory brackets the 93-95's came with? Or did you make your own?

How did you run your wiring for your roof mounted lights?

I assume that you're asking about the front bumper. I removed the factory mounts and used the ones the new lights came with. I just drilled into the bumper cover.

I hate that I didn't take any pictures but here goes nothing. I grounded the lights themselves to other torx screw holes in the roof rack. I ran the rest of the wires through another torx screw hole (later filled with sealent to avoid leaking) in which it ended up below in the headliner. Then, if I'm not mistaken, I ran those to the switches on the overhead unit. I grounded the wires for the switches to pre drilled holes in the overhead unit and spliced the power wires with some fuses in the cabin fuse box.

Like the build so far. I have 2 driving lights up front thinking about adding some fog lights as well.

And then my mechanical problems hit . One of the serpentine pulleys decided to break (a major pain in the ***), and the steering box had gotten so loose, I had nearly 40-45 degrees of play at each end. Took it to a mechanic friend not wanting to risk screwing anything up

After getting her back, I set out to replace the old and worn out headlights with new OEM parts as well as fab up a CB antenna mount out of on old bed wheel

Heres a pic that I found with everything lit up.

Oh okay, I have a 96 and I'm trying to find a way to mount the lights. I wasn't sure if the bumper itself would be sturdy enough. Another option is to fab an L bracket and bolt that to the frame where the 93-95's had the option of the higher fog lights in the position you have now.

thanks!
