That skid plate is sick man. You definitely will not have to worry about anything doing damage to your T-case. Other than your right foot anyway.

Sweeeeeet. I've been waiting for ever to see this Rear Quarter armor, I think it's gonna look sweet. Btw, what'd you end up deciding on for a tailight setup, just have it wrap around the exisiting light and make a portion removable? hahah if you wanan really get crazy, use a long, thin hinge and some kind of snap lock and make the piece that covers it hinged, and it snaps closed. that'd be pretty sick. nonetheless, can't wait to see the results!

for the time bring it will just be the quarter panel portion on there untill i decide for sure how i want the tail light pieces ( the hinge idea already came into mind but is near the bottom of my choices )

It'll still look good. The other day, I was with a friend of mine who was a Rubicon Wrangler, and he has a lot of that diamond plate, like the rear corners and a lot of the rear of the tub, and we started talking, and I think that, if done right, it would look pretty good on the ZJs, starting from the rear, where your panels are going, maybe some over the flared portion of the fenders (questionable) and then pieces where the stock cladding would normally be, and maybe something on the front, not sure what or how much. Then to fasten it down, just a riveter and rivets. This might be my next project when the warm weather comes around. Diamond plate is pretty sturdy imo, and my pops has quite a bit laying around at his shop.

because of the flat black look of the bedliner, I'm thinking maybe black diamond would look better. He mentioned covering the diamond plate in the bedliner, but I really dont want it to match, i'd like it to have a little contrast so people will notice the diamond plate. The chrome might look a little too shiny for my jeep, considering it's pretty much blacked out now.

Man i can't wait to see the body armor too. Are you going to put some tubular protection around the rear wheel well like the front that you mentioned? you could have it tie into the 1/4 panel armor and the sliders to make that look pretty cool too.
