I personally like the trimmed fender look maybe I'm partial since I've done it but I think it looks great

If you have to trim into your fenders, take a look at the Iceland flares. I installed them this summer and love them.

He wont need to trim his fenders.. Just front and rear bumper. I haven't trimmed and I'm 4.5" and 33's..

I think the fenders are safe for now. I will look into Iceland if I decide to go up to 35's. Here's some pics of the sliders installed. Now I just need to come up with some 1" material to use as a spacer for my trans skid.

Well worth the $20

We couldn't find a t-case drop kit for my brother's XJ a few years back. We could have ordered one online, but we wanted to install it that night. So we just found some thick walled tube. We went to Home Depot, and bought some natural gas tube that had about a 1" OD. It was pretty thick and strong. We cut it into 1 inch sections, and used the tube as spacers to lower the t-case. I think we had to find new hardware also, but we made a t-case lowering kit for around $10. He ran it until he sold the Jeep, and it worked great.

I bought some 1"x2" 6061 bar stock online. Less than $25 for the 21" I need. I don't think the 'sleeve' style spacer would hold up that well. I may have to abuse the skid to keep up with you guys on 35's
