Took a little trip to 5 mile with the Utah Jeepcrew over Labor Day weekend. Brian was nice enough to post pictures and video which I pirated and don't intend on compensating him for in any way. Thanks Brian!

After watching the videos he posted, it appears I prefer to hang out the window while driving rather than sit comfortably in my seat.

I was at 15 psi all around on this run. Normally I run 15 front and 12 rear.

^Like.

And I love the rear cargo covers...it seems like most people don't use them, but it allows you to keep stuff in the Jeep without people being able to look in and see everything.

One week to Moab!

Finally finished my tow rig tonight. I swapped the ATS Turbo and the ZF5 manual into it and put it back on the road again. Four days later the IP died. Swapped the IP out of the donor truck. Two days later the water pump seal gave out. Picked up a new one from NAPA and installed it. While flusing the cooling system, the radiator drain was plugging up with scale. When I tried to pull another plug out of the bottom tank, it ripped the tank! Picked up a replacement HD radiator and finished the install tonight. Wish me luck on the drive to work tomorrow.

I 'should' be in good shape for the tow to Moab on the 17th...

The Jeep is in the garage getting a once over before heading to the offroad promised land Wednesday afternoon.

The tow rig has one job to finish before making the trip.

Nice, I was doing the same thing today.

Putting that truck on your trailer shows how much longer it is than a WJ

The WJ has been my DD most of the time since coming home from GSW. The Ford received the turbo and manual trans from the parts truck. Then in a series of quick failures, a new injection pump, new water pump with all hoses, new radiator/cap/thermostat and one new idler pulley. I grossed 14,280 on Bloom's scale yesterday while loaded.

Here are some pictures from last week's Moab trip. It was mostly a WJ party, with a slight interruption by Team1K with his YJ. Thanks to 85IrocZ-28, BLACK04WJ and Team1K for the pictures and to WJwheelin for leading us on Moab Rim.

There may be some videos of my flawless driving skills (except for Rock Chucker) over the weekend. I'll share them when they become available.
