I probably spent around 4 hours at a leasurely pace. The part that took the longest was removing the old gasket material. I don't know what Chrysler used, but it sticks to aluminum like no other.

Got the lift installed this weekend. I still have to extend the axle breathers, a little more hammering on what is left of the front lower control arm mounts and recheck all the bolts. I can't wait to get the 33's on and go for a test drive.

Rear end links, springs and shocks removed

Spacer intalled on the differential

And in my normal fashion, here a some completed pics

Will add more once I get the 33's on and flex it a little....

Brought it to the tire shop for an alignment this afternoon. Hopefully they have time to get to it today. Once it was out of the garage, it looked significantly taller at 4" than it did with the 2" BB.

Here's a side shot now that it's on the street again.

So I got hosed on the 33's that I inspected and bought at night. 3 of the 4 have some sort of minor bead damage and I don't know how well they will hold air. So, I have some tubes on the way. Kind of a poor man's beadlock. Lesson learned...

I need to make a spacer to reinstall my IRO skid and get the sliders painted and installed. Should be another busy weekend.

Went for a little ride with the kids to give to LA's a try. I'll definately have to trim when I get the 33's mounted.

I'll trim as much as I need for the 33's. It would be nice to stay away from the fenders, but what ever it takes.
