And if you guys all get skid plates I'll have a melt down because I don't have my ZJ anymore.

Then by another one lol. I'm picking up another soon, I don't care if they think a zj isn't safe. I've seem what happens to a KIA that gets rear ended by a car that's going over high way speeds. I'm not worried about my zj.

What a croc of CRAP. 237 out of 2.7 million? Thats 1 in 7,173. Or, approximately a 0.4% chance that it'll happen to you. Pretty sure you have a greater chance of being run over by a cement truck while crossing the street on your bicycle, so lets apply California political "logic" and outlaw cement trucks while we're at it.

I think it's all political that has something to do with the Fiat takeover.
If it were about safety than braking system upgrade would be more beneficial, larger discs and dual calipers, the gas tank is fine and i already have a skid plate.

Fiat I'm sure has it written in the contract to purchase Chrysler that they are not responsible for vehicles produced before a certain date. They arnt new at this game I'm sure.
