Haha. I don't take the WJ off-road too often so I skipped them. I just yank the two bolts/nuts on the sway bar when I do get to take her out!

Washed and waxed the WJ Friday before the snow (and salt) shows up. Pardon the mess in the reflection!

It is quite shiny! I mainly wanted to protect the paint from salt!

I'd love to head to the PNW to collect some pinstriping! Perhaps someday...

My fill up this morning revealed a whopping 10.35 mpg. I'm hoping I let it idle too long or something. If that's not the case, I have an issue to track down.

I recently discussed how the WJ drives with my brother and his fiance. After thinking about it, I figured I'd post up what we talked about as a follow up to a previous discussion we've had here.

Back in July of 2012, I replaced my TRE's, Adjusting Sleeves, and aligned the WJ before taking it on a camping trip: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f197/...l#post13860475 On that specific trip, I felt that the WJ swayed quite a bit while driving down the interstate. We figured a combination of weight and tire pressure caused the issue.

A couple weeks later, I adjusted the angles of my front sway bar end links in hopes of correcting the issue: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f197/...l#post13977704

Fast forward to Tuesday, my brother's fiance confessed that she hates driving my WJ and that it is all over the road. My gears started turning and I realized I no longer have this issue. The WJ drives straight and smooth, even with 4 adults and a baby riding along. The sway bar end link adjustments must have helped as that's the last I've done to the suspension.

Next follow up, the misfire issue I was having back in September has also disappeared. I'm not sure what the issue was during that spell but I haven't witnessed it since then. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f197/...l#post15866387

Thirdly, I wanted to post my 3000th post in here. Haha!

Saturday night we checked the freezing temperature of the coolant in the vehicles to make sure they were good for the -15F temperatures. All was well until I popped the cap of on the WJ... After a trip to town for some coolant, I found I was about 2/3 of a gallon low. Crap.

Last night we hopped in the WJ to head to Fridays and both ReJeana and myself noticed the unmistakable sweet smell of antifreeze when I kicked the heater on. Most likely, my heater core has a small hole which explains the lost coolant. I'll keep an eye on the coolant level to verify a leak but I foresee a long Saturday ahead.

I fixed mine with the Blue Devil sealant product. Might be worth looking into.

After changing the oil and rotating the tires, we went to a friends house to watch the fights the other night. When we arrived, RJ parked a little crooked because the spot next to us had a bunch of snow piled up. My friend's roommate was teasing us because of our parking so I moved over for her... Needless to say, RJ had trouble getting in.

The quality isn't great but the pictures are still fun.

Curtis making sure she doesn't fall...

Almost dropped a spring...

Also, while grabbing the above pictures off of Photobucket, I saw these from a long time ago. Remember when the grass was green?

Someone probably asked already, but what receiver did you go with?

I like the fit

The hitch, bezel, and wiring harness I installed is all factory. I think they're difficult to find new but a junk yard will probably have them!
