alright guys its getting to be summer time.

i will be out of town for a month. so do you guys want to shoot for something in a july? mid to late july?

my thoughts are rather then go to an over crowded beach is do a easy trail that every grand can do, it can either be a day or camping trip. and lets go up to the mtns where its a little colder.

either do one of the 2 mtns man divide trail ( next to lake elsinore)(4-5k peak i think) or go to the pawnee mine (warner springs) all the way to anza then go up to either thomas(6k peak i think) or preferably santa rosa mtn (8k elevation)

for the main divide trail you need a adventure pass and for thomas mtn aswell but not for santa rosa.

i have not done main divide i have not done this trail but it is 40 miles long from lake elsinore to corona with many turn offs so if needed you can bail and head back down the 15.

i have done pawnee mine to anza then to either mtn peak. the hardest part of the this trail is the turn off for the mine if you have a stock level zj you can do it but i would highly suggest some rock sliders. and a T-case skid. ( i have my old one off if you just need one let me know, i'd be more then happy to give it to some one who can use it/ needs one)

thoughts?

edit: lets make this a calling all san diego grand cherokees

I'll keep an eye out and hopefully my schedule open. I need to get in the dirt soon. Haven't been in real dirt since I've picked up my ZJ.

I'm here because
my little girl
doesn't need her dad
on two wheels anymore!
.
Camoflauge, camoflauge, I disappear when I pull out of my garage!

PM me for LED light bars and HID off road lights

We're finishing a JK build, so I'm sure he'll want to get it dirty soon.
