very true. i'm planning on running 265/75/16s on my stock rims and have a feeling i'll need spacers. plus i like the look of when the tires stick out past the fenders a little. makes it seem more complete to me.

yeah, It looks funny when you are looking straight on at it.... the wheels don't even come out even to the sides of the fenders. haha

It'll sit perfect with the spacers on. My JK Moabs come right to the edge of my fenders with a 1.25" spacer.

Thanks for the sanding tips. I'm rocking 1.25" spacers and I was pretty happy until I added a winch causing me to add poly spacers to get the front back up. I'm at almost 6" in the front, about an inch higher than before.

I used to be able to flex out all the way on an angle with no worries but now it's a little tippy. I now wish that I bought the 1.5" spacers but I don't think it would help as much as I want it to. Before I put on my new tires (exact same as what I have now) I think I will spring for new wheels and start hacking my fenders even though I love my stock wheels.

Now wtf does any of this wheel talk got to do with this build thread?
1) Its HIS build thread
2) Its in general DISCUSSION
3) Wheels are part of a build (mod much?)
4) The Barbie Jeep section is that way------->>>>

BTW, nice Caddy, Silasprit.

^ LOL ..... just got back, didn't find any worthy 242's BUT all is not lost..... I found a 4cyl XJ that still had the HP dana 30 in it. For those of you who don't know why that axle is special, it's because it has 4.10 gears. I paid 100 for it. I am going to clean it up and paint it. I will either save it and stick it under my jeep along with some gears for the 44A or will sell it and make a couple hundred bucks. Only took 30 mins to pull ( thank God for electric impact wrenches!!)
