built my sliders today.

i already had the square stainless sliders but wanted the slanted side tubes.
so today i got off my butt & got it done finally after ordering the steel about 2 months ago.i'll let the pics speak the rest.
this is what they looked like beofre i started

first cut





first tack & fitting


the shop guard dogs


went out back & sand blasted them

finished

the angle sliders look 100x better IMO

those are nice! how much did the steel cost? Im wondering if there is a cost effective angle to building your own or if its out of sheer badassness

well the 1 3/4 x20' tube was like $40..the stainless square stock was already built when i bought the jeep..but i would guess under $100 total in supplies including hardware.
