I uninstaled the steering gear and broke it down.

I drilled and taped the top and side port!

I used 1/4 o-ring to 3/8 flair adapter.

Welded on the tabs for the draglink.

And the tab for the axle side I welded to the front of the spring perch.

This way the ram is high and tight to help protect it from rocks... I liked this location better than the usual place everyone mounts them (in place of the stock steering stabilizer) It seemed to vulnerable there!

When are you planning on dumping the 30? I wouldnt of even wasted time with hydro assist on a 30 when your running 37s. Looks sweet though.

And for Sandman here are some better pictures of the work in progress boatsides:

Here is a dark picture of the 3"x4"x3/8 box tube I welded to the uniframe between the link brackets.

I still need to finish off the front and rear of the "boatsides angle pieces" I am going to box it in so it is smooth in the front and rear. I also have to cut in pieces to smooth the transition from the boatsides to the link tabs. After I will run a piece of plate from the new frame-rail to frame-rail for a flat belly

The Superduty's are a few weeks off now so I didnt want to wait for the hydro assist regarless of axles it is nicer to turn the 37's. Now its done and the new axle will just need new tabs welded on!

I got ahead of myself and forgot to take pictures of the steering pump modification. I drilled out the high pressure side and added a spacer washer under the spring in the piston to increase pressure! I works awesome it almost turns to quick now instead of the lag most feel with a taped WJ box and stock pump

I'm jealous. Ram assist would be badass, how much was it?

Doing it myself made it low cost. $125 for ram + $19 shipping, hoses were $29 each full assembly's, and a quart of steering fluid. I'm into it $206.99 and my sweat

That's it? I thought it would've been way more.
