How did you find that lift on ebay for 1100 bucks.. damn.. Was it a vendor selling them that cheap or a regular person who bought it and then didnt use it?

As for the fender trimming you did.. WOW badass. I plan to do exactly what you did, one question, how did you get the inner lip you left to roll over and fold so nicely?

Private seller, he needed the money.

I used duck bill's to fold over 1/4" to get it started, then used a body dolly and a ball peen hammer to pound out a nice smooth even line.

Okay, I guess I will need to pick up (and find out what it is, lol) a body dolly and duck bills.

Nice.. so do you start out with the dolly set and then use the hand seamer at the end to completely push down the metal edges??

Do you use the dolly on the outside painted surface?

No I used the duck bills to fold over 1/4" first (use the wide in the flats and use the sides in the round to get a better rounded fold)

Then I put a 1/4" round edge dolly behind the fold as a backer while I hammered the edge smooth.

The paint will chip so I suggest scribing a break line or sanding it away as I did.

Take your time and if you F up you can use the duck bills to flatten it back out hammer it flat and start over. (but try to avoid it)

Thx for the info.. I will post pics when I do the project.

Are you still running the front cv style driveshaft or did you already swap that out for something else?

Your springs are really only 4.5 inch lift springs?

What is the tire size?
