Sell it Brian. Get an SI. I know you want one Trust me, as much as I miss my Jeep(which is a TON) all the extra cash I have right now due to not spending a **** ton on parts and gas every week is sooooooo worth it.

cant you find an older evo to make it cheaper? I'm not exactly up to speed on the evo's......but something like on 05 would do fine right? Also, just make sure nothing has an engine swap.......uhg. I see all these kids and their honda's and toyota's at work who have major codes left and right from doing engine swaps. Then again....maybe its just spokane's inbreds getting ahold of these cars...

No I don't want an si, an evo is the only car I would trade my jeep for. But the thing is right now I don't have to put a ton of money in my jeep, if I got the evo I would have to spend almost a $1000 every month just to drive it because the payment and insurance would be so much.

I'm going to finish my jeep then hopefully in the next year or two I'll be able to get an evo if I can get a stable career going in Law Enforcement. Trust me, I'm getting an evo, they are amazing, I just have to wait a while.

I prefer the Dodge Charges, but to each his own. I'm really not a car person. I like my Jeep too much. I'd almost always rather have some type of true SUV. I'd even take a modern 4Runner over most 2wd 'cars'. LOL Good luck with your build, Brian. You're the one that's inspired me with my own Jeep so it'd be a shame to see it go. You're so enthusiastic about it. I think that people get burnt out on their Jeeps, then they go to something else new and different. Only they get burnt out on it, too. Focus, man, focus. You have an awesome ZJ. I think Roger was an idiot, yes, gonna say that, to sell his after all the money and work he put into it. What was the point? But Roger, I think it really doesn't matter what I think. You did what you wanted, and it's your choice. This is a free country where people are free to switch from vehicle to vehicle if they wish. I just think it's a good reason why everyone is so in debt. We as a nation are never satisfied, always have to be buying something different, living beyond our means. And guess what, if you have to make payments on something instead of buying it outright, I do think you're living beyond your means. Yes, most of us have to do this to have any sense of an enjoyable life, but it's a form of enslavement. You have a choice as to what level you get yourself into. Brian, you're too young to get into that much debt with payments/insurance that high. Wait until you're 30 with a lot of money and stability to go hog wild buying something so pricey. You'll be glad you kept your ZJ, too. You'd miss Moab every year after. You've got the best of both worlds. The most fantastic street Jeep other than the new SRT8's, yet an awesome off-road monster. Keep it. Or else give it to me.

An idiot for making a good financial move? Tell me how keeping a vehicle that is paid off and spending $200 dollars a week in gas alone makes more sense than selling it and getting a vehicle that is paying for itself in fuel savings alone? Doesnt make much sense to me. Yes, I miss my Jeep. No, I didnt want to sell it, but sometimes in life you have to do things that you dont want to and be responsible. You have no room and no right to tell me what I can and cannot afford. I could save up for two month and pay cash for the car I am taking a loan out on, but I am taking the loan out instead because it makes sense. Its called building your credit. I have aspirations of one day owning a nice house. You cant do that without good credit. Much more went into my decision than what you think, or want to see. There are more things in life than Jeeps and I can always get another one. Right now in life I would prefer not to spend half my income on gas.
