Lifting a front Dana 44 into a lifted jeep is no easy task when you do it alone.
Tomorrow morning I'm taking the axle to KOR so we can finish the disassembly and weld on the truss and lower control arm mounts. ![]()

Update
Some progress pictures from today. I forgot the flippin axle socket so we couldn't take apart the hub.
First all the brackets were cut off with a plasma cutter then ground down. Didn't take any pictures of that but you can see where the backets use to be in the next picture. Next the cast was heated so the tubes could be welded. ![]() Tubes partially welded ![]() Truss mounted and welded. ![]() I also ordered some Warn locking hubs and wheel bearing kits today.

Forgot to mention that Bryant from KOR gave me these Ballistic Fab spring retainers because he's doing coilovers and doesn't need them.
![]() And somemore pictures of the axle. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Nice, I want to see how this turns out on a black grand cherokee. I'm considering doing this myself, but didn't know how good it would look black on black.

I'm hoping it will turn out ok. I'm tired of looking at the claddingless sides and decided I'm going to grind down the nubs, fill in the holes, and bed line it. I got the idea from Bryant for KOR, he did this to his ZJ and it turned out great.
