This is encouraging - I PM'd EricsXJ earlier asking for a picture at an angle that brings out the worst in it. He told me this. "I don't think I could get a photo of it looking bad anymore. After the paint has had time to cure, be in the sun a bit, and after a few washings, it has become more uniform than before, which wasn't too bad to begin with."

I think this was one of the original pictures from when he first did it, looks good to me.

i like the color but it needs more black. i would like to see it black over the fenders and where the cladding was and the rest dessert tan. but thats just my opinion since i like two tones

Dude. Do the tan, leave the bumpers, etc black, get the ZJ Bushwackers (Cuz psh you can afform em ) and paint em black. That'll look BA.

That tan does look sweet. You are lucky you have a black jeep too, if you do this obviouslt under the hood would be black, and the door jams, so the black and tan would look so good.

I was thinking about the XJ flares cause they look better than the ZJ flares.

Yep. And when I take my stock doors off and put on your tube doors it will look even more sweet.

if you do paint it, how do you plan on doing it. are you painting it yourself or paying someone, are you doing the door jams, whats gonna be black and what tan?

i just noticed i bought the same cb exact cb radio as the cobra you have and am going to be using same exact mount and antenna

I'll probably cut out the rockers and add in box steel for sliders,grind off the rivets that use to hold on the cladding, and roll my front fenders first. They say 90% of a good paint job is in the prep work so I'll spend a day prepping it for paint and then paint it the next day. I won't pay anyone to do it, probably grab a few jeepers to help and knock it out, they'll help if I buy lunch or dinner. Most likely I'll leave the door jams black and just paint the outside of the jeep. The bumpers, sliders, "mesh" inside of grill, door handles, etc will remain black.
