That's right, you haven't seen it since the Crown King run. I got rid of the roof rack and added the front/rear bumpers and rock sliders since then. I won't be wheeling it till beginning of next year when I get this phase of my build done, it'll definitely be cool out then.

Edit: Oh yeah, and took it to Moab.

Right now I have the regular roof rack from the jeep I sold my custom roof rack to. Today my 5.9 roof rack came in the mail.

Why'd you ever get rid of your 5.9 roof rack? I'd love to replace mine with one of those. I envy you. I need to focus on more practical expenses for now though. The Jeep is eating all of my money! I haven't even lifted it yet. At this rate I never will.

We used the bottom half of the 5.9 roof rack with the custom one so it had to go when I sold it.

Well, that sucks. Your Jeep will look better with the 5.9 roof rack instead of the custom one though. I think that big roof racks can look all right, but it just kind of sucks that ZJ's make it so hard to carry a spare, etc. That is, if you want any cargo space. I am still not sure what I'll do when I switch to bigger tires. Ah well, I'll face that bridge when I come to it.

Be sure to post pics.

Not if he sells it to me first, 1MB low on his L2, man. I need everything I can get to make my 4.0 look more BA.

Forgive my ignorance but whats the difference between a regular roof rack and a niner rack? And Brian I think you need Kevins roof rack. That thing is sick.

5.9 rack is lower profile and makes a lot less wind noise. Very good upgrade if you have a sunroof.

The 5.9 rack is what the WJ has...the 5.9 version was the "prototype" so to speak...

Looks like they got it right on the prototype, after that I don't know what they were thinking.
