Build Thread: Ezflip
Guess it's time to start my build thread. Picked up the 2000 Laredo 4.0 with 242 TC about three months ago bone stock.
![]() Edit: Traded in the Blue 4.slo on a 2002 4.7 ![]() I have also added a set of Rusty's tow hooks and a flag mount. I will try to get pics up of those later. More mods to come later BTW sorry for the crappy pics. I don't have a camera so I have to use my phone. Click to skip to the 02 WJ Build

I could be wrong, but I think that spacers are supposed to go on the top of the spring (your rear is on the bottom)

I beg to differ, but I actually had the RE spacer kit and the instructions specifically said to install on top with the radius of the spacer facing down.

Nah, the instructions specifically stated the front goes on top and the rear goes on the bottom. Plus it was the only logical place for it once I had the springs out. Quote:

my apologies...must have been made differently than my old spacers. My RE ones told and even showed to put on top of springs.

It doesn't matter for the rear spacers. Some kits say bottom, others say top, you pick.

Looking for advise on painting my plastics. I was thinking black, but wonder how that would look against the blue. I was also thinking a lighter color like silver. What do you guys think. Probably looking at doing this in the next couple of weeks.

I like black cladding for red and black; but I think silver would indeed look better with blue. I just painted my plastics black today. Make sure you use Krylon Fusion paint. Stuff kicks arse. Virtually no surface prep and dries in an hour. I only used 3.5 cans on both bumpers, rockers, and cladding so I'll probably also do the door handles and strip-O-plastic on the liftgate.
