yeah dude im doing a TON.

havnt added it up, but since january of 09 to about a month ago i was at about 8k. And I've had my jeep since september of 06. although I really didnt do too much modding the first two years, some here and there. id say between repairs, mods, and other misc costs im probably hanging around 15k total, if not more (not including the cost of my jeep itself).

If I just had the money, believe me Id be doing SO much more to it.

yeah i look back and it kinda makes me sick. but knowing how much fun it provides makes it all worth it. I cant wait until it is driveable again. I miss it so much. I've just been so busy with things and havnt had much time in the last couple months. My goal was originally to have it done december januaryish, then that got pushed back to late march. now its may. dam you life.

I got my zj back the beginning of my junior year of highschool so i know how it goes. funny thing is ive spent way more on it since i entered college than when i was in highschool. you would think it would be the opposite. go figure

work your *** off, sell whatever crap you have sitting around your house that you dont need. save every dollar. skip meals if you have to. thats basically how ive been doing it. well, and selling old parts but i dont think youll have any of those for awhile.

just wait and enjoy it as it is stock while you can, because once you start modding it (like any other vehicle), stuff goes wrong, and its way more of a headache. mine stock was awesome, and never had any problems. I didnt really start breaking anything until january 31 of 09 when i took it offroading in the snow/ice.. broke a ton of ****, and until probably august that same year, it was never the same. then boom i lift it 4" beginning of september and blow everything up. since that day it seems i break things left and right and am known on here to and around my friennds to have broken the most stuff overall (without being in an accident).

thats what i said at first. it started with a field. worked its way to a muddy field at a soccer tournament, then to a hill climb, eventually to actual offroading (granted there isnt a whole lot of good wheeling spots near by). Each time youll want to try more, and push the limits more. it happened to me.

when i first got it i didnt even wanna lift it. I joined here and that quickly changed my mind. I at first wanted 3" max.. im not at 5" lol.

The retail value of my RB1 alone equals the amount hes spent on his axle rebuild, lockers, and steering. We have the same lift and equal value tires. See where Im going with that Im not downgrading his Jeep, I love what hes done with it recently, just saying, 15k is a bit far fetched.
