anyways, on the subject of the motor, i have hunter on facebook trying to talk me into getting a crate 5.9 that comes with 325hp, 375 ft/lbs. dam all of you.

damn, thats a hell of a deal. is it a fully built engine with cams, valves, and such? or has it just been machined and ported?

think its ported to hell. which if thats it id be better off buing my cam, tb, supporting valvetrain, and using the different to buy headers, and have my buddy port the heads for me

Lol, good luck with that. Id prefer not to redneck engineer andything on my jeep, plus my buddy has state of the art equipment that he can use for free

Roger, you've got a lot to learn about engines buddy

Hand porting heads is the way to go. Sure you can do an amazing job with a CNC machine, but a good port job will be finished by hand. There's no redneck engineering about it. A drill and a port/polish kit and a crap load of time is what it is.
