dont have the money right now. plus i dont care for the IRO LAs. might have an ace up my sleeve though.. crunching numbers right now, may be able to get some clayton rear arms in the near future? gotta look more into my finances. this is all assuming i can sell all my rear control arms, jks trackbar, and addco sway bar for what i think i could get from them.

troy flaked! (not really) but some complications came up, so thats probably out the window. might have him help me a little with the front arms however.

Somebody slap me. i will be calling kor and claytons tomorrow to see what i can get clayton rear long arms for and compare that price to what it would cost to build/buy the parts and do it on my own. it would probably be easier just to buy the full kit.

i priced out what all i would need for rear long arms to make and to buy some parts. price came to $1025. that included buying all the clayton brackets, making the arms, buying the joints and tube inserts, welding, and shipping

^if you watch the end, that cop was going off on people. he came and punched a kid that was like 5 feet away from me. stuff is crazy

anyways, on the topic of my jeep. gotta weight my options here and decide on a few things

i have and/or will have potenially enough to buy rear long arms or buy some parts for this 5.9 engine ill be buying this summer (assuming the guy doesnt back out). engine needs rebuilt. and figured i may add a few things to it.

extra goodies would be, 1.7 roller rockers, cam, TB, maybe an m1. not sure if ill do that or just my ported keggar.

what do you guys think?

If you plan to build an engine, you better start buying parts now. Youve hardly driven your jeep on short arms. Learn to wheel how it is before going long arms. Put the money towards the engine. Engine stuff isnt cheap.Research it a little more too. 1.7 RRs are point less if you are doing a cam too. Get a cam with the lift you want, no need to get extra lift from rr's. 1.6 RRs will do you fine.

maybe if you weren't always out gettin drunk (like me) you'd have your jeep done.

At this point, you and I are racing. I need to swap 2 axles into my jeep by 7fest in 2 weeks. I'm planning on new ball joints, bearing, bushings, shocks, ,TRE's, etc. Listen for angle grinders and electric impacts on woodruff this month.

we had this convo via texts. BUT, iv been wheeling my jeep on short arms. it comes stock with short arms

i know what you mean man. iv also been helping a couple friends with their jeeps. go figure.

why havnt we hung yet? sounds like we do alot of the same thing.. lol. if you want any help this weekend let me know.

and you going to 7fest? how does it compare to palmer?

im leaning towards the engine right now.
idea is:

-KRC 210x cam
-throttle body (cant remember off the top of my head which brand is the best)
-1.6:1 Harland Sharp rockers
-headers at some point
-ported kegger (maybe m1 down the road)
-ported stock heads (maybe some aftermarket heads down the road
-prolly need a walbro fuel pump at some point too
