A vice is for holding stuff, not compressing stuff.
I have broken several vices in my lifetime They're expensive to keep breaking!

A vice is a bad habit, a vise is for holding a work piece.
![]() The book recommended practice for starting a crush sleeve is to compress it in a hydraulic press about 1/16" then start the pinion preload procedure. Saves you having to break out the multiplier or 3/4" torque wrench.

^ those look nasty
remember to do your brake prep work, and get around the oh so dangerous break-in period.

yeah man these rotors are pretty beefy. i like how they have the "hat" painted and the sides of the rotors painted. saves me the trouble
gotta break in my brakes and gears.

yeah, my friend sorta over-estimated his new rotors and pads when he installed them, and ended up having 50% braking power and rear ended someone. i imagine it to be worse when slowing down 33" tires
