like $319 or so.

Update. Making progress with the interior. Laid alot of my Fatmat Megamat sound deadening down to replace the stock matting I ripped out. I really like the appearance of it and cant wait to see how it performs with my sub. In the pics im gonna post I used 10 sq feet. Ended up having a lot more than I thought and started on my roof. So today I went and ordered another 25 sq ft and am going to do my trunk and the rest of my roof and other random spots

painted the metal where the old mat was. Ill be damned if I leave bare metal on my jeep lol

I absolutely DESPISE ripping out the factory sound deadening mat. It's suck a PITA. I might leave the passenger side just stock because I dont want to hassle with ripping more out.

Not gunna lie man, I never was a fan of how "apart" for lack of a better term, your Jeep always was before the tear down. Looks like you've really got it togethr now. Should be killer once its all done and finally on the road! Im pretty excited to see it done. Ill def have to make a trip to cbus to see it.

blue in and out.

What'd the mat cost you? I need to do my doors. They rattle and annoy the heck out of me. Polk speakers have too much bass for them to handle. Rattle, rattle, buzzzzzz. Eventually I turn it up enough so I can barely hear the noises...that aren't music.

Great looking work so far. You're way more dedicated than I am. I'm too lazy to do all that. You go into so much detail. Wanna work on my Jeep?

Looks like the Fatmat came out really well. Is it easy to work with?

LOL. I could always get some blue led valve stem covers
Id like to do my doors but am not sure if I have enough left to do them. Maybe the rears will be doable.

I got the mega mat upgrade so it was a little bit more expensive than the regular fatmat. Not by much though
So far I have bought 10 sq ft ($30) and then 25 sq ft ($70). So it's really not expensive at all.

And yes I have been going into some detail with this build. Thats why its taking longer than expected

Its actually really easy to work with. Just dont let it fold over and stick to itself. Wasted a good sq ft or 2 doing that :

done sound deadening. Now I just need to weld down new studs in my trunk so i can make the tie down straps removable and still use them. then i can put my interior back together

fogs

i started realizing my jeep was wiggling around on the jackstands (in the back specifically) and got a bit nervous so I threw in the 44a real quick and jacked it up and lowered the rear jackstands so that the rear is actually sitting about 2" below ride height or so.

now its nice and firmly planted on the repositioned jackstands

How does the BB gun help with putting in the sound deadening material?
