John, "the best" TB is F&B. But unless you want to spend 5-600 bucks, id go a different route, lol. Im going BBK 52mm. Its a sweet *** TB for the price

BBK is right at 299. Through kolak you can get it for 290. ill pay 10 more to get it within a week though. lol

cheaper than i thought
might order one tomorrow. and agreed on the $10 more. I dont mind waiting for my parts if iim getting alot of $$ off from kolak. he got me ujoints for half the price anybody else wanted ($13 apiece vs $30..x5 ujoints), so i could justify that wait.


that and prolly some front 20% tint (i know youll like that one roger )
might take my 5.9 vents, grille, and side mirrors to get painted, and order a dc controller too. yeah i got some money to blow.

Did you look at Fastman TB's? Should be somewhere around 250 for a 52mm I believe. There's also the guy that ports stockers on dakota-durango for $95 shipped. I had one on my 5.9 and it's pretty clear that the guy puts a lot of time into cleaning them up and porting them.

^talked to davit, ross, and greg (sf dudes) on blackberry messenger just today. fastman isnt any better than the bbk, and the bbk is billet. = blingg$$$$$. lol.

looks like ill need some further valvetrain support mods for the cam.
-behive springs
-hardened pushrods
-new timing chain
-new gaskets

but itll be worth it when i see a 100hp increase over what i currently have!

just found this vid. krc 210x or equivalent cam specs..sounds soooooo good

so the ZJ will be out of action for even longer?

thats a gnarly cam. do you/will you be getting new valve rockers when you get it?

no it wont be out of action. ill be picking up a 5.9 engine, whether it be from nash or roger. and will build that on the side.

ill be getting harland sharp 1.6 roller rockers, so yes
