Do you have blue reverse lights? Looked like it in the video clip...looks pretty cool either way. By the way, what muffler are you running?

Damn why did I click the video. Now I want a super 44 again. Bastage.

The clunk on accel / decel ...... Maybe a motor/trans mount? U joint? Check those yet?

go get one! definitely one of my favorite mods.
motor mounts seem old, trans mount i think is fine. it might be a ujoint, not sure. i thought my pinion angle was fine, but when i go about putting these front upper adj's in ill get an angle finder



could water in a diff cause lots of gear whine? like noticeable at 20mph, and howling at 40?

Yeah, deffinately check your u joints first for the clunk, then the motor mounts and trans. Cant hurt to put new u joints in, fairly inexpensive if you do it yourself.

Water in the diff is no good, might as well just drain/fill might cost ya $20 and save you a load of problems!

i thought that, but heres my question, last time i drove it, it didnt "howl" like this. it sat for about 3 weeks, then i drove it again and now it does. does that make any sense?

I doubt it's just water causing the sound, it's probably amplifying the effects though.

i hate the way rc designed that arm. for the same price you could have gotten the rubicon express arms. the way they welded the tube to the plate just bothers me

its actually pretty beefy. and i kept seeing RE ones for $230
