BigBlueZJ94 build thread

So ive had my rig for a good while now and i think its time to put her out there.

When i first got her... Picked her up last June for 1500 w/ 180k and a 4.5in RE lift from my ex in CO that had no idea of its potential. I drove it from Colorado springs to vegas and was getting about 20mpg. miss those days.lol

took the doors off last summer

first mod aside from the lift was my tires. I got a heck of deal from none other than another JF member. 33x12.5 r15 trxus MTs. I got all 4 in nearly new shape and a brand new spare all for 150 big ones.

the new one

i ordered some black cragers to mount them on as my current rims werent wide enough and they were 16s

next to a stocker with my old tires. he wanted the black rims so i made back my 150 bucks

my exhaust was falling apart so i took a leap. 3in pipe from the manifold back to a flowmaster high flow cat and a 40 series muffler turned down right after

i also needed a new air filter so i played around and made this. I know its not really "cold air" as its pretty close to the engine but oh well.

pressing on with the build...
at 4.5" with 33's did some wheelin at a trail down at red rock in west las vegas. i know i wasnt wearing a seatbelt and i didnt have doors but ive already been flamed on numorous accounts and it wont happen again

these are just a few of the hundreds taken but it was at this time when i realized that 4.5 wasnt going to be enough for all that tire. I didnt want to have to trim too greatly and i plan on going 35s so i ordered some more goodies.

IRO adj trackbar and drop bracket and 2 in coil spacers. I also got a jks rear adj track bar but i dont seem to have a picture of it.

then it was time to take her out
took a trip out to Logandale, about 30-45 mins north of las vegas for what was planned to be a good day of wheelin. Went with the Vegas Valley 4Wheelers for the annual Hump-N-Bump pre-run.
we had a good turnout of close to 20 rigs...

I was pretty dissapointed at the ammount of pictures that were taken and the quality but what can you do. My photographer failed to show make it on this tripand this picture shows the death of my d35s spider gears...

so that day was short lived and here are my spiders and the damage...

it doesnt look TOO bad from the pictures but I dont think you are supposed to have this at the bottom of your diff..

and just a comparison with the new spiders...now this was my daily driver before i got my WJ recently so i know you are thinking, while its broke, why not upgrade? I had some spare spiders so i threw them in while i went axle hunting.

decided to go with the quick and easy... picked up a d44a from a guy off of mallcrawlin for 150 bucks and he met me half way from salt lake city so i didnt think it was a bad deal.

I also scored some MX6s from KOLAK while he was doing his promotion. Heck of a deal. 299 for 4 and a mail in rebate for 1 free.

As far as right now, i really want to do 4.56s so im debating regearring or paying off the credit card with my tax return. but aside from that, id like to go either 242 or 231 TC whichever i can find a good deal on and then some sort of locker for the front. And more short term, cut the fenders and NO DOORS come summer time
