BHand89's Build Thread

Hey guys I thought I should finally make a build thread to show you some of my progress on my WJ.

This is right after I brought it home

I don't want to post all the pics of the cleanup in here because theres way too many so go HERE

After I got it cleaned up I did new brakes all the way around, then ordered some Cragar Soft 8's, a 2" BB, and 31x10.5x15" Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.

After I got my wheels on, I drove over to the local muffler shop and had them weld up a Classic Chambered Powerstick muffler. I had it laying around from my old Camaro and figured what the hell. I think it sounds great!

Soon after that I painted my cladding and my grill black using Krylon Fusion

Thanks to Cash for Clunkers, I scored a full set of heated leather seats from a 2000 WJ

Let's see, after that I ordered a Mopar UpCountry TC Skid, and a KOR Roof rack lightbar.

A couple pics from gettin a lil dirty...

That's pretty much as it sits right now. Let me know what you guys think.

That WJ looks sweet, i really like how it turned out, way bettter then stock.
seems those tires are the new big hit on JF along with the official JF wheels (soft 8's) lol
i also think the painting the cladding and chrome grill really set it off!

on the other hand im not a fan of light bars.. but overall great lookin jeep

Where did you get that "Sucking gas and haulin' ***" sticker?

BTW, I'm that black WJ with 4" and 32"s that's parked in lot A on Mondays and Wednesdays from 0900-1230 on the gravel most of the time.

Thanks longjeep, I couldn't be happier with how it has turned out, and Truenos I knew I'd find you on here sooner or later I love your Jeep man. I got the sticker down by my uncle's place about 2 hours southwest, a town called Princeton. It was at the shell station.

From the little mud I went in they did very well. Although it was my first time offroading so I don't really have anything to compare them to. I really like them though.

Looks good but I would suggest, if you are going to wheel it, get some front recovery. You will be glad you did.

UPDATE: IRO Long arms are going on the front, rear a-arm spacer, Addco rear sway bar, IRO adjustable track bar, interco HD steering stablizer, 33x12.5x15 Hercules Trail Digger M/T's and hopefully some outlaw 2's. Also got front tow hooks. Will give a better update once I've got everything installed. Thanks
