4.0 vs. 4.7? Thats not even a fair race. I have a 5.2 and a 4.0 and the 4.0 will not even come close to a V8

right, but there is a good amount of differences between a 5.9L magnum and a 4.7L H.O.

not all engines are the same!

And there's not a good amount of difference between an I6 and a V8? Hmm

Numbers wise they are pretty close. Some places have the WJ HO posting better times. (2002 WJ Overland 0-60 6.7 secs - Motorweek)

Feel and actual numbers are sometimes deceptive. Anyway, compared to a 4.0 they both perform and feel like top fuel dragsters.

I think I'm going to vote WJ, but the ZJ is close. With the Overland, Quadradrive limited slips f/r +skids+ rock rails + give it a clear offroad advantage (stock) over anything the ZJ had. Modified, the only limiting factor is $$$ and either platform can be built to really kick *** offroad.

If you got a 4.0 ZJ to under 7 secs 0-60 (from over 10 stock), you must have done the flux capacitor mod.
