My Order
98-5.9 , it just rocks ! 95-Orvis , last year for the 46RH trans ,OBDI, and a front u-joint driveshaft for the V-8 . I could mention the seats don't resemble a cartoon charactor(flamesuit ready ) but agree the later yrs were cushier . after that would be any WJ that has the 4.7HO and a 242hd . I like the old school steel heads on the 5.2&5.9 but I am jealous about the 3-links rear set-up on the WJ . Thanks to good aftermarket support , I can have both with a ZJ . Here's a quote from Wikipedia about the 98-5.9 "It housed a Magnum 5.9 LV8 engine with an output of 245 hp (183 kW) and 345 lb·ft (468 N·m) of torque, going from zero to 60 mph (100 km/h)in only 7.3 seconds (Motor Trend measured this at a slightly faster 6.8 seconds), making it the quickest SUV available that year. The performance of the 1998 5.9 L V8 has been surpassed by Jeep only with the introduction of the 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8, which housed a 6.1 L Hemi Motor."

I don't know what you guys are smoking, but a 5.9 makes more torque than a 4.7HO, and I've read that the advertised HP #'s are way low as well, so it probably makes more HP too. Plus, it's a 5.9. You can't beat that with a WJ :-P

I like those rims, they're reminiscent of AMG Mercedes Benz. I'd rock 'em on the Niner if I got a set for a good price.

Have always wanted one since they were out in early-mid 03, and I finally got one last year with only 23k on it ![]()
