Best Grand cherokee?

So, i have a 2000 WJ 4,7 V8 with a few mods, butn i can see that a lot of you guys seems to be loving niners
I have an opportunity to buy this one
Voiture occasion / 68.579 voitures occasions sur Auto Scout24 Belgique
My wj works really fine so what you guys would do?
Sell wj and buy niner? why?
Or keep the wj? why?
Thanks

I'd put it in this order:
1998 5.9
1997 Orvis
2003 Overland (last year with UpCountry)
2004 Columbia with 4.7/242
1994 Base model 5 speed

keep the wj. zj's are awesome, and the 5.9 is by far the sexiest, but i wouldn't trade a wj for a zj.

I think almost everybody would agree that the 5.9 is the best, although I don't know if I would trade a WJ for one.

this sure is biased towards a ZJ!

2004 Freedom Edition 4.7HO with 242
2003 Overland 4.7HO
2004 Columbia 4.7/242
1998 5.9

Yes the 5.9s are pretty sick.....for their time. The 4.7L is just as powerful and the HO is even more powerful. Stick with the WJ!...and this statement comes from a former ZJ owner

I'd take an 03 or 04 Overland with the 4.7HO over a 5.9 any day of the week. It might not be as rare but it has more power and WJ's look better than a brick on wheels, I mean ZJ's

WJ's are for chicks/soccer moms. ZJ's are for men and 5.9's are for superheroes.

I was more concerned with rarity, and owning these before they don't exist anymore . . .
5.9-14k made
1997 Orvis- 2.2k made- I'd seriously consider trading my Niner for one
Overland- Easy enough to find
Columbia Edition- Probably difficult to find, not sure on numbers though
1994 ZJ 5 speed- I'd trade my 1998 Laredo for one as it sits, regardless of mileage/condition!

how rare are the 04 WJ's with the 4.7 and 242, freedom and columbia editions?

id go from my 97 ZJ 4.0 242, to one of those WJs with the 242 in a heartbeat.

everyone ends up swapping in the 242 into the 5.9 anyway, i guess it just comes down to everyones own opinion between the different body styles.

I have to say I've gotten way spoiled by my 5.9. There's definitely a difference between it and my Laredo. I'd imagine the WJ Overland's are even nicer, especially with the RB1.

Only 6000 Columbia editions were made and not all of them had the 4.7L HO. So that makes them more rare than the 5.9!!

That may be, but it still won't beat the awesomeness of a 5.9
