Its getting the spare tire well cut out, and the gas tank lifted, thanks to Mr. Pancake's idea last night , and the rear bumper built. Going to try to tie some tube from the bumper into the rockers, then into the front to help protect the body, and up to the front ARB. Also "covering" more of the tires, so my wife won't get pulled over once a week for fender flares
I'm going to re-do the links as well. I'm dropping some serious coin into this thing, pretty much using up my Cummins swap fund for the Powerstroke, so I hope that damn corn binder motor lasts a few more years.
The powerstroke should hold up OK. Ford did push more power out of those engines than they were meant for, but I've seen buses with the International version of the engine (T444E) with over 230k that still run great (and these aren't owned by a company known for good maintenance).
Both axles will be sold as a pair. I have a spare set of shafts front and rear, diff skids on them, slotted/cryo'd brakes....I don't know what to ask for them, but nothing is broken, at all.
Being that 99.9% of the time its been on the street, I'm sure they're just fine. They probably have less then 10 runs on them, and I've never been heavy on the throttle. I've babied them as much as possible.
You're not going to get me in trouble, you're helping . I'm pretty excited about doing all this within a month, should turn out to be a pretty badass rig
lol, I actually went and looked at cameras, but believe it or not, money is really tight (thanks to the Jeep)
