Got both bumpers on CL now. Not getting any hits on it even at half of what I paid. Might have to put up a listing on JF. If I were to do freight shipping, it will probably be through Greyhound. So, if anyone is interested in that, let me know.

Not a WJ update, but I got exhaust coming for the Hemi WK. Pretty stoked to get it installed.

It's a Jeep, it's not supposed to work right all the time.

I don't really know. I would have to say at least 150 lbs. with the carrier. Probably more.

Listing them at $750 for both on CL right now. Might have something going on the rear right now though.

I'll take $350 for the front.

Okay, this was ridiculous to read through. TOOK 3 DAYS OF FREE TIME AND I HAVE READ IT TODAY SINCE 2AM MDT. Well at least I wasn't bored while I wasn't able to sleep. I kept wondering if the story died and Cruze and WK from your signature were what you upgraded to.

Glad to see the build is still going, and I would like to say that you convinced me I might want to look into GC's I always thought they couldn't be built to wheel easily, but the set up you have right now (30&44) is about all I would need for the 33's I would want to put under one. I have a YJ if I want to make something too ridiculous for DD.

Were you serious when you replied to someone about the quote being 9 grand doubled and add some more? Can you give a 5k$ ballpark of what your current plan is likely to cost you at EOR? I just can't wrap my mind around actually paying 20grand or more for a toy man. I would be happy if I could invest 2grand in mine right now, but I am in school so I figure graduation and a professional job will change that some.

LOVE THE BUILD KEEP IT UP MAN!!!! Are you going to build the axles soon?

Finishing a 4.0 Cyl.head swap, Just got an AX-15 NP231J combo to replace the busted t-case and craptacular BA10/5. Adding Nutter bypass. Probably more to come before it is back as a DD!

Glad I could keep you entertained and have you start looking into Grand Cherokees. The creature comforts are awesome out on the trail!

I'll go ahead and say that the EOR quote was a ballpark. Actually pretty close in reality. But you have to remember that the quote included some of the big ticket items/costs that I don't have. That would be like the Atlas (at least $2500), coilovers (close to $4000), cage ($1800), 5 wheels and tires (at least $4000) and some other stuff...but you get the idea. Adds up quick. I mean I just have like $4000 in the axles right now and thats just the axle sitting on a stand.

But thanks man. The axles are slowly but surely getting built. I think I'm going to try and set the gears up myself so I can save like $850. Still need to get the OEM stuff for them.

Saving for a house is taking up all my Jeep money right now though. It's going to be nice to have a garage though once I have a house. I can't stand this apartment anymore.

Well, did a little bartering with TJSWJ and got a Redneck Ram steering setup in exchange for my rear bumper. Worked out good since I was going to buy this kit sometime down the road anyway. Really thinking about throwing the kit on with the 31" tires.

Thanks TJ for the steering kit!

Thank you for the bumper, glad your happy with the kit as well. Lol, i hope my hillbilly friend didnt weird you out too much.

Throw it on now, it cant hurt anything, I was going to run it with my 33's. If anything, its one less thing EOR will have to setup, which will save you some cash. Plus you can be the first one to have 31's and hydro assist lol.

Yea, I'll just have to fab up some tabs or something and get a fluid cooler. It'll handle like a race car then! If you got any questions about that bumper, just holler at me.

And don't worry, I've dealt with a lot more redneck folks.

Had a cook out with the local Jeepers today. Huge turn out with close to 30 Jeeps from the N. Alabama area.

Got a good picture of the only WJ and WK there. Got to represent the Grands!
