Good plan. FWIW, my buddys WJ has 33s and the d30 with a tru trac and broke a stock shaft and 2 R&P's before he gave up on it and is now building a HP44.
My vote is save your money for a 44

I see. I will probably just leave it open.

Yea, I'd love to build up an axle but it just ain't in the cards right now. I live at home right now but could get a call next week for a job somewhere else. I came to a conclusion that it's just to unstable of a situation right now to build axles. But once I get myself a permanent DD and stable housing figured out, I'll get to work on axles.

But fitting them? I don't know, buying the correct carrier for the 30 and throwing them in there. They'll work.
o ok i thought there was fitment issues for 4:88s...that why i thought every one does 4:56s

Well it's more of a strength issue because of the number of teeth and size of the pinion gear. I figured if I leave it open with stock shafts and take it easy I should be fine.

Finesse > Throttle

(sometimes )

I've got a D44A waiting on my porch for all the Goodies that you already have! lol

I've been set on 4.56 gears for a long time, but 4.10's and 4.88's aren't out of the question. I like my 31" inch Mud Dogs, but would definitely love a bump to the 315/75/r16's (34.7'ish) in the future...

Anyway, beauty of a WJ you have going on, the lift will really set that thing off.

I heard great reviews about those wheels. I think they were a little more than spyderlocks and I wanted a bigger ring.

I also got my spyderlocks cause I got a killer deal and they are Colorado company.

But I don't think those would be bad at all.

I would wait if you want eventually swap axles. If I swap axles, I will stay 5x5.

Yea, I'm waiting for the axle swap to buy the baller wheels. You can mock me then if I don't get beadlocks.

Been trying to figure out what backspacing to run. Most wheels are like 4.5-5" backspacing for a 17" wheel. It's rare I even see 4" backspacing. I just don't want the tires tucked in like they are now. I'd like to get a wider stance if I could.

Ya, you will have to run spacers to push them out far enough. Most beadlocks have enough backspacing.
