Whenever I regear I plan on 4.56's but then again I don't plan on running 35's. If I did I would prolly go with 4.88's, but like you said a lot of people say that's a tall gear for the d30 and 44a.

I've got a 79 bronco sitting in my impound lot with those same axles. I wish I had the time and money to swap them in.

I just like the look better. I'm not a big fan of a ton of rubber around the wheel.

I know I keep going back and forth, but I've been crunching some numbers.

Yea, I figured with it being caliper to caliper it might be worth it.

Ok, well I think I've made a decision to just stick with and build what I've got. I just want to finish the Jeep cause I want to get closer to starting my next project.

One question I do have, on the Alloy USA shafts it seems that they are made just for the Vari-Lok axles. This seem correct?

Bit the bullet on the Clayton 6" kit, Bilstein 5100 shocks, JKS BPEs/Shock Conversions, gears and install kits. Can't wait for it show up!
