While I'll tell you I agree my brakes might not be "optimal", my ability to lock up the 36" Iroks is enough for me.

I do plan on removing the ABS pump and installing a prop valve in the future, so I can tell you guys how it feels to do the swap!

*edit*
As a note though, anything I come up with production wise I plan to have ebrake and abs!

Been contemplating wheels the last couple days. Don't really know what I want to go with. Yea I know I could go the easy way out and get soft 8s or the D-windows, but I want something different. And yes, I'm willing to shell out extra money for some different wheels.

Not to crazy about the ton-of-rubber look that come with bigger tires. Been looking at 17" wheels quite a bit lately. I can get both 35s and 37s with a 17" wheel, unlike a 16" wheel. Yes, I know you get get a lot cheaper wheels and tires with 15" wheels. Again, I want to be different.

Some brainstorming here...

MB 72 in black

I think these would look sick on the dub. I know they look nice on some of the TJs I've seen on JF. Expensive as hell though.

Raceline Monster RT-231

Guess I could still hop on the cragar bandwagon with a 17" steel wheel, but the backspacing on them is terrible. Any other ideas/suggestions?

Decisions, decisions...

I like those MB 72. I saw do it in the 17s. Always good to be different.

I had the Raceline monsters on my jeep and loved them but I would recommend the aluminum outer rings.

What PSI did you run your tires at with those wheels? I noticed that the max PSI on those wheels is 25 PSI.

I just ordered the MB chois 5 wheel from discount tire for 110 a piece for 16in. rims,i believe the 17in. ones are 120 a piece,I really like the looks of this wheel,i was going to go with a pro-comp wheel but another forum member posted pics. of his GC with these wheels last week and i fell in love with the wheels anf just had to have a set and they were cheaper then any of the pro-comps i was looking at.

Cool. Thanks.

What is the benefit of the aluminum ring versus the steel ring?

Also, anyone tried balancing tires with BB's?

Less conning, stronger and they seat better against the rim.

You can either do bb's or stick on weights.
