Yeah it was a last minute thing for me. But I checked it out and it was pretty fun. Not as big as it seems on the map and its geared more towards fourwheelers, but it still gets pretty hairy in some spots.

This pic is one of the roughest hills, pic doesn't do it justice to how steep it was:

By gardendale do you mean greyrock? I am down to go if I'm back in town.

Looks like a pretty fun trail.

And no, its not Grey Rock. I was told it was some guys private property that he had made a bunch of trails on. I guess JJaminson knows the owner. He made it sound like it was legit.

So I just got a hit on a rear D60 out of a Ford on CL. Sounds like I could haggle him down to $80 since he sounds desperate to get rid of it. It would be one of those things where it just sits in my garage until I need it.

What you guys think?

Just go ahead and install it. I'll be down on Saturday to pick up your 44a.

In all seriousness, if nothing else you could always get your money back out of it later since you're only paying ~$80. If you have the cash on hand you might as well spend it before it burns a hole in your pocket.

I like what you did with the diff cover. This is how I painted my Ruffstuff cover for my 8.8:

I emailed the guy with the 60 and offered $80, but I haven't heard anything back yet. So I don't know whats going on with that situation.

So, I had some stuff come into today. As soon as I opened the box, I was literally speechless. These Lightforce 240s are MASSIVE. Like...I don't even know what to say.

Take a look:

I think this is fitting...

Thanks. I think they will look good once they are mounted up!

Got some better pictures of the lights a little bit ago. Kind of sat them on the Hellas for a comparison. So far, I'm REALLY impressed with the construction of these things. They just look and feel rock solid. The reflector is absolutely top notch to say the least. Can't wait to see the light output on them!

With the clear cover:

The crystal blue combo filter:

Showing how deep they are:

Got these cool mounting nuts for them too:

Daaaaaamn, i actually like the blue covers on them, i bet this is putting some stress on your wait for the bumper. Any updates from that?

Yea, I'm definitely wanting the bumper to mount the lights on right now.

I called them last Tuesday (7/6) and asked for an update. I thought with it being exactly 3 weeks since I placed the order, that at least something had been built. Obviously not, cause he said they haven't even started on them yet.

I called again this past Monday (7/12) and asked for another update on the build. Apparently, they still hadn't started on anything yet. The guy said they would be starting this week and would be calling me next week to get my other half of my payment and scheduling a day for me to visit their shop for the install. I'm going to call again this Friday and see if any work has been done and make sure they aren't giving me the run around. Hopefully the front bumper or something is at least done. We'll see what happens...

Got off the phone with KMA a little bit ago to get the 411 on whats going on so far. He said they had started on them this week. Sounded like they would be finished pretty soon. Only thing that sucks is since I'm getting them to install them (only cause I want some custom stuff done while its on the Jeep), I have to wait til they can schedule me in. I was told the next Saturday they had open was Aug. 14. That's way to far away, so I have to take a day off work to go down there. The earliest weekday I can get in is the 28th, so I asked off work for the 30th (for a long weekend) to go get them. Looks like I'll have them on by the end of the month.

With the axles I got now, 35s. If I happen to find a good deal on some tons or something, I'll step up to 37s. Its all still up in the air.
