X2 on what BigMike said. Did you reroute the fuel filler and vapor hose like Shinobi did?

Stupid question: Y'know those little stabilizer doohickeys that go from the centers of the skid out to the bumper...are those things important? I kinda took mine off when I did my hitch.

Don't know about Shin's way, but I did mine like Saturn. And I don't think those things matter that much.

Thanks. Don't know if I have enough time to work on anyone elses rig. I have a hard enough time working on mine.

And try to look past the crappy welds. The skid picked the Jeep up when I put a jack under it, so I reckon its strong enough.

Brush guard is 1/25" and the skid is 1/8".

If you have up country, then you should have the skid.

I kind of like them. These are A LOT better than the "God Bless America" ones. Those were dumb I thought cause they didn't have the county code on them. Maybe I'm weird for liking the county code. I still think we should rock the "Stars Fell On Alabama" ones though.

Oh ok. Yea, mine is the skid. It had a pretty decent thickness.

Okay, I see how it's done. Had to go back for another look, of course. And yeah, I didn't think the stabilizers mattered much, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

Now I want to do that. makes it look so much nicer from behind.

Oh yea, looks way better. And I get reminded of that fact every time I see a stock WJ and its tank.

So I ordered up some stuff to fix my axle seal the other day. I got it today.

I got to looking at the bearing, and it seems like the bearing and race are like stuck together with something...

I just figured the bearing and race would come separate. This happen to anyone else before? Maybe I figured wrong...
