Yea man. I'm always down for a trip to Badlands. I think me, Sean (quadratokn), some of his folks and some of my folks will be going after my Thanksgiving break. Should be a fun time.

Yea, I usually head back to Alabama once school ends for summer. Could be different this time around though since I'm looking for internships everywhere. I'm just playing it by ear...

It takes me about 30 minutes to get out to Badlands. Not bad at all.

Thanks for all the ideas. Keep it up ....

Thanks man and no problem.

So its that time of year again. My birthday and Christmas are around the same time so I have some money to toss around. Don't really want to spend all of it though. I've made a list of what I kind of want, so I'm basically just asking you guys to help me brainstorm.

Things I'm thinking of right now:

- MVC truss
- BTF 44a cover
- maybe a 44a Aussie
- get gears for later down the road

At this point, I don't really know what a price limit would be. Maybe $500ish, but throw any idea you got out at me and I'll consider it. So far my ultimate goal is 33s (at least) on the Claytons 6" kit. I guess I'm just working up to that point in terms of axle prep and what-not. Don't get me wrong, I'd love some bumpers or more lights, but they aren't to far up on my priorities list right now.

What you guys think?

Daniel

Have you thought about just getting the front long arms, adjustable rears and taking it to 4" or so inches of lift and running 33s. Will save you about $1000 dollars and could always go bigger later. Might get you there faster.

I mean I thought about the 4" route last summer, and almost did it, but I knew I would just end up going higher and wanting rear arms as well. Besides, I like seeing some space between the tire and the fender. Not really a big fan of tires that just take every inch you've got left. Once I get out of school, I don't really see my WJ being daily driven anymore so I might want rear arms for future future projects. Never know.
