i also needed an adjustable track bar with my first spacer lift i had bad DW as soon as id hit any little bump on the highway...all my steering/suspension components seem to be in good shape and i still get the occasional steering shimmy on certain bumps...

This a lot like what's happening to mine. Some bumps I can go over fine, while some make the jeep start wobbling but dampen off, while some cause me to go to straight death wobble.

Well, I had someone steer the Jeep back and forth to see if anything looked out of place. Just wondering, does it matter if the Jeep is steered with the engine running? Or does it need to be off? I also tried tightening the steering box, but couldn't really tighten them anymore.

Well, I had the engine on, so it had power steering. It seems like the track bar at the frame moved quite a bit for only sitting still. Could the bushing be shot or do you think the hole is ovaled out? I don't really have time to mess with taking the track bar off right now since I have to drive it tomorrow. I guess I'll check it out when I get back from KMA tomorrow.

It doesnt take much to take the bolt out and drop the TB.. i can adjust my tb in maybe less than 10 minutes. If the tb is moving then I would just go ahead and point at the problematic ovaled out hole. It seems like almost all WJ's have this problem. How many miles do you have on your jeep?

Yea, I know it doesn't take much, but I'd rather keep it together for a 300 mile round trip tomorrow. I mean my death wobble is not really a big serious problem. It's more of an annoyance. I can still drive the Jeep 95% of the time and not get death wobble. I've never gotten death wobble on the freeway either. So I'm not really concerned about it until I get back tomorrow night.

I'll check it out for sure tomorrow night.

So I got my bumpers back home without much incident. Only got death wobble once cause I had to slow way down to about 50 and then hit a pot hole that would eat a Honda alive. I mean it was big and the deteriorating patchwork to somehow fix the hole made it that much worse. I'll be pulling the track bar tomorrow to see what's up.

As far as the bumpers, I'm pretty happy with them. I'll like them more once they are all painted up probably. I'll throw some pictures up tonight before I pull them off to paint them.

you notice any lag after having the bumpers put on? after making both of mine it is unreal how slow my WJ is lol DEFINITELY no way to overgear a WJ the lower the better...

Ask and you shall receive.

First off, I want to say Kyle at KMA tried his hardest to get me what I wanted on the bumpers. He gave me straight up honest answers to my questions and seemed to know what he was doing/talking about. So, a for that.

The front bumper fits great. Could use an extension on the sides to cover the fenders a bit better, but it's not a real big deal. The back however needs some work, especially if I wasn't going to be cutting my fenders. But since I am cutting the fenders sometime down the road, they will line up just about right looks like.

Already put a light coat on the carrier.



And one more...with the LF 240s.



Well, there you have it. Off to a lot of painting. Will have more pics once they are painted. Not to mention light output pictures.
